SciBender is a creator research and analytics workspace. It retrieves information made available through authorized third-party platform APIs, organizes measurements and preserves information about source coverage. Features and available metrics vary by platform, account type, permission and reporting window.

3. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to accept these terms and permission to connect every account you authorize. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your access to SciBender and for activity performed through your account.
4. Connected platforms
You direct SciBender to access third-party platforms using the permissions you approve. Those platforms are independent services governed by their own terms and policies. SciBender is not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube, Meta, Instagram or TikTok unless explicitly stated. A platform may limit, delay, change or withdraw data at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use SciBender to violate law, another person’s rights or a connected platform’s rules. You must not attempt to obtain unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, circumvent rate limits, introduce malicious code, misrepresent data provenance, or use retrieved information to harass, discriminate against or unlawfully profile another person.
6. Your content and instructions
You retain rights in information and materials you provide. You grant SciBender the limited permission needed to host, process and display them solely to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you submit or connect.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how SciBender processes information. By connecting a platform account, you instruct SciBender to retrieve the information covered by the permissions shown during authorization.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep SciBender accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every metric will always be available. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, respond to platform changes or improve the service.
9. Analytics are informational
SciBender provides analytical information and research tools, not guarantees of performance or professional legal, tax, investment or financial advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using the service and for checking source context and coverage limitations.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SciBender is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. SciBender is not responsible for third-party platform outages, API changes or the accuracy of information supplied by those platforms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using SciBender and disconnect linked accounts at any time. We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, material breach or protection of the service and others. Provisions that logically survive termination—including rights, disclaimers and limitations—remain effective.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SciBender develops. The effective date above identifies the current version. If a material change requires renewed agreement, we will provide appropriate notice.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and rights to use local courts remain unaffected where they apply.
