1. Who is responsible
SciBender is operated by Ali Ghadami. Privacy questions, access requests and deletion requests can be sent to neuralighadami@gmail.com.
2. Data we process
Depending on the connection and permissions you approve, SciBender may process:
- account identifiers, display name, avatar, profile link, biography and verification status;
- publications and associated metadata, including titles, descriptions, publication times, links and media identifiers;
- available performance data such as views, likes, comments, shares, reach, watch-related measurements, audience aggregates and profile totals;
- OAuth access and refresh tokens, granted scopes, token expiry and connection status;
- records you create in the Studio, including research notes, review decisions and mission configuration; and
- limited technical information needed for security and operation, such as request times and error logs.
SciBender does not ask for or store the password you use with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or another connected platform.
3. How and why we use data
We use this information to provide requested account connections, retrieve authorized metrics, present analytics, preserve retrieval context, maintain the service, diagnose failures, prevent misuse and respond to support or privacy requests. Processing occurs to provide the service you request, to protect the service and its users, and where applicable with your consent.
4. Sources of information
Information comes directly from you, from creator platforms you authorize, and from normal operation of the website and Studio. Each third-party platform separately controls its own service and privacy practices.
6. Retention and deletion
Connection credentials and retrieved analytics are retained while needed to provide the Studio and maintain its evidence history. You can disconnect an account to stop future retrieval. You may request deletion of associated stored information by emailing us. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security records or where retention is legally required.
7. Your choices and rights
You can decline optional platform permissions, revoke access through the connected platform, disconnect inside SciBender, or request access, correction, export or deletion. Rights vary by location. Send a request from an address we can reasonably associate with your account; we may need to verify the request before acting.
8. International processing
Service providers and connected platforms may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.
9. Security
SciBender uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect stored information, including server-side credential handling and encrypted token storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
SciBender is intended for users who are legally able to operate and connect creator accounts. It is not directed to children under 13, and a higher minimum age may apply where required by local law or a connected platform.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be presented through the website or Studio when appropriate.
